What mindfulness is can be so varied, rich and complex.
In simple terms, Mindfulness is about bringing awareness to our experience just as it is, in order to learn about ourselves on a deeper level.
Jon Kabat–Zinn (Founder of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and The Center for Mindfulness in medicine) defines Mindfulness as “paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally.”
The most straightforward and simplest definition of Mindfulness is noticing what is happening right now.
